Choose Your Installation Environment

Before you begin the installation, consider where you plan to deploy GPU Cluster Manager. Your environment's characteristics will influence the initial steps of the process.

You have two primary installation options:

• Cloud Deployment (AWS EC2): Install MMBatch on Amazon Web Services' Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances. This path leverages cloud infrastructure for scalability and management.

• On-Premises Deployment (Bare Metal): Install MMBatch directly on your own physical servers or virtual machines within your data center. This option provides full control over your hardware.

Common Steps Ahead

While the initial setup steps differ between cloud (AWS EC2) and on-premises (Bare Metal) installations, many of the subsequent configuration and usage steps are the same.
