License Installation
I successfully installed an OpCenter, but I can't submit a job. Why?
You must apply a valid license using the float
CLI (enter float license acquire -A acct_name -P acct_password
) or the web interface (click the license icon on the top, right-hand side and enter your credentials in the pop-up window). The credentials are those you create when registering with the MMCloud portal - not your login credentials for the OpCenter.
I want to deploy multiple OpCenters. Do I need a license for each OpCenter?
No. You can use one license for all your OpCenters, but you must apply the license to each OpCenter (using the float
CLI or the web interface).
How do I upgrade from an MMCloud Pro license to an MMCloud Enterprise license?
You can obtain an MMCloud Pro license in a self-service manner. To upgrade to an MMCloud Enterprise license, you must contact your MemVerge support team. The upgrade requires that MemVerge make a change in your profile in the license server.
After I applied the license to my OpCenter, I successfully submitted jobs, but now I am unable to submit jobs." Why?
The OpCenter periodically queries the license server (default is every hour) to revalidate the license. If the OpCenter cannot reach the license server, the OpCenter returns a license error.
