Working with OpCenter

Introduction

The OpCenter is the control point for Memory Machine CE. All interactions with the OpCenter use the web interface, the Web CLI, or the float CLI running in a terminal session. Although most features can be invoked using any of the three methods, the CLI running in a terminal session offers the most functionality. Most users only run a subset of the float CLI commands in their everyday use of OpCenter for running workloads. OpCenter also includes support for upgrading the software without affecting its virtual machine instance, for migrating running jobs to other virtual machine types, and for testing application compatibility.

Although similar functionality is accessible in the web interface as with the CLI, the web interface also provides graphical displays of resource utilization and a dashboard.

A detailed float command reference is available; this section provides summary descriptions for common use cases.
