Working with Hazelcast Clusters

Using MemVerge Memory Machine, you can manage the hosts of a Hazelcast cluster, capture snapshots of the cluster, and restore snapshotted clusters.

Working in Memory Machine with Hazelcast cluster snapshots on the command line involves the following tasks:

  1. Configure Memory Machine to work with Hazelcast clusters.
  2. Configure Hazelcast to work with Memory Machine.
  3. Take a snapshot of the entire cluster.
  4. Later, restore the cluster to the state it had when the snapshot was taken.
  5. Delete unwanted cluster snapshots from Memory Machine.

Alternatively, you can use Memory Machine Management Center to create and remove clusters and to create and restore snapshots. See Working with Clusters in Memory Machine Management Center.
