Memory Machine Administration

MemVerge Memory Machine can be installed and run using CLI commands. Many administrative tasks can be performed using the Memory Machine Management Center web interface.

Memory Machine requires minimal system administration, but some administrative tasks are required to maintain Memory Machine.

Administrative tasks include installing a license, starting and stopping the MemVerge Memory Allocation Service (MVMAS) and snapshot services, and configuring user privileges. These tasks can be performed using the command line interface (CLI) or the web-based Memory Machine Management Center.

The CLI is also used to start and stop applications under Memory Machine, to use data services such as ZeroIO Snapshot, and to view usage statistics.

Memory Machine administration includes managing application memory using tools included in Memory Machine. You can also use Memory Machine to manage memory in containers.
