Memory Machine Management Center (M3C) is a web UI application available on the host that is running the Memory Machine Management Service. You can view system resources and performance metrics; create and restore snapshots; schedule jobs; and more in M3C.
Using Snapshots in Memory Machine Management Center
Use ZeroIO Snapshot from Memory Machine Management Center to capture the state of a running process. You can then stop the process and restore it to the running state captured in the snapshot.

Overview and Installation
Getting started with MemVerge Memory Machine requries that you understand some background information about how persistent memory works. You can then install Memory Machine on a server and begin monitoring memory usage and capturing application snapshots.
Using the Memory Machine Management Center

- Getting Familiar with the Memory Machine Management Center
  Memory Machine Management Center (M3C) is a web-based user interface (UI) from which an administrator can view memory and processor statistics and capture and restore application snapshots on any number of servers under management by Memory Machine.
- Managing Hosts
  Use the Hosts Console to manage hosts and to view statistics about application instances, memory performance, and snaphots on individual hosts and host groups.

  You can view application instances from the Applications Console. Application instances must be started and stopped using the command line.

Replicating a Snapshot

Click a snapshot in the Applications Console to replicate a snapshot to a different host.

About this task

Replication copies a snapshot's data from PMEM on a source host to PMEM on a target host. The snapshot's metadata is copied to the target host's Memory Machine data directory. See Snapshot Replication.

Procedure

Navigate to the Applications Console.
Click the Snapshots Tab.
- In the Snapshot Timeline, click a snapshot node
- In your chosen entry in the Snapshot List, click the All dropdown
Click Replicate.
In the Replicate Snapshot Dialog, choose a host from the Host to replicate to Dialog.
Click Replicate.

Results

A replication job is created and queued. The job might not start immediately and might take some time to complete depending on the size of the snapshot and server workload. See Viewing Jobs.
