The Applications Console
The Applications Console lists application instances by host. and displays details of a selected instance.
Applications Console shows the labeled parts of the Applications Console in the Memory Machine application.
The Applications Console contains the following elements:
- MemVerge Application Name
- The UI application logo and name (Memory Machine Management Center).
- Global Search Icon
- Click to search for host group, host, application instance, snapshot, and cluster snapshot names.
- Jobs Dropdown
- Click to view scheduled jobs. See Viewing Jobs.
- Help Dropdown
- Click to open the Help Center, the Open API Reference, or the Memory Machine Information Pop-Up.
- User Dropdown
- Click to log the current user off the Memory Machine Management Center.
- Console Selector
- Click to choose one of: Global Dashboard, Hosts Console, Applications Console, Alerts Console, Jobs Console, Usage Report Console, or Settings Console.
- Application List
- A list of clusters followed by a list of application instances. The list of application instances is organized by host.
- Clusters List
- Shows members of a cluster for applications, such as HazelCast, that support clusters.
- Create Cluster Icon
- Click to create a new cluster.
- Application Instances List
- Shows application instances, grouped by host.
- Import Snapshot Icon
- Click to import a snapshot from a saved export file.
- Host Name
- The Application Instances List is grouped by host name. Click the Instance Toggle next to a Host Name to expand and collapse the list of instances on that host.
- Instance Status
- The PID of the instance and its status (running or stopped).
- All Actions Dropdown
- Click to schedule or clone a snapshot.
- Capture Snapshot Button
- Click to take a snapshot. Inactive if the process is not running.
- Snapshots Tab
- Click to view a timeline or list view of the selected instance's snapshots (timeline view shown).
- Configuration Details Tab
- Click to view the configuration details of the selected instance (not shown).
- Metrics Tab
- Click to view resource statistics for the selected instance (not shown).
- Timeline Button and List Button
- Click to select a timeline view or a list view of the instance snapshots in the Snapshot Display Panel.
- Refresh Icon
- Click to refresh this display area.
- Show Tree Toggle
- Toggle display of the snapshot tree in the timeline view. "On" shows all snapshots for the instance, which might contain branches where previous snapshots were restored. "Off" shows only the lineage of the running process, which does not branch.
