Viewing Detailed Host Memory and CPU Usage

To focus on information about a particular host, choose the Hosts Console.

Procedure

  1. Choose Hosts Console from the Console Selector. See Changing Consoles.
  2. From the Host Selector Dropdown, choose the host you want to view.
  3. Choose the Overview Tab.
  4. View a summary of information about the host, including IP address; operating system release and kernel version; CPU usage; and a summary of alerts for that host. See The Hosts Console Overview Page.
  5. To the right of the host information, view the Host DRAM Usage and Host PMEM Usage panels. The DRAM panel shows how much of available DRAM is being used for Memory Machine tiering (caching).

Results

The Memory Usage Value (volatile and persistent) and the CPU Usage Value are shown near the top of the display beneath the Server Name Value. See The Hosts Console Overview Page.
