Searching the Memory Machine
Search globally for almost any entity, including hosts, applications, instances, and snapshots, using the Global Search Icon.
Procedure
- On any console except the Global Dashboard, click the Global Search Icon.

Begin typing a hostname, application command, instance name, or snapshot
name.
At three or more characters, a search dropdown lists all entities that begin with your search term. The search is continually refined as you type.

Select the entity from the dropdown.
The entity is displayed in the appropriate console. For example, if you select an instance, the instance is displayed in the Instance Detail Panel.
