Capturing a Snapshot Using Memory Machine Management Center

Use Capture Snapshot in the Instance Memory Usage Display to capture a snapshot of the selected instance.

About this task

Warning: Changing an application dependency can render a snapshot unrestorable. See Upgrading Application Dependencies.
Note: Memory Machine supports a maximum of 255 snapshots per application instance. You can delete old snapshots and limit the number of snapshots retained per application instance. See Scheduling Snapshots.

Procedure

  1. Open the Applications Console. See The Hosts Console Instances Page.
  2. Click the Capture Snapshot icon in the selected instance.
Note: If the instance has no running process, the Capture Snapshot icon is unavailable.
