The Memory Machine Management Center Console Screens

The Memory Machine Management Center (M3C) has several console screens: a Global Dashboard, a Hosts Console, an Applications Console, an Alerts Console, a Jobs Console, a Usage Report Console, Logs Console, and a Settings Console.

The Memory Machine Management Center console screens are:

Global Dashboard
The Global Dashboard describes the hosts under management by Memory Machine. This information includes a list of the hosts showing resource and application statistics for each. The Global Dashboard also shows these statistics in aggregate, plus graphs of overall usage trends over time.
Hosts Console
The Hosts Console displays information about a single host. It shows the current total and in-use DRAM and PMem on the host; DRAM and PMem bandwidth and usage over time, and alerts for the host.
The Applications Console
The Applications Console displays a list of all hosts in the left sidebar. When you select a host toggle, the list for that host expands to show all the application instances on the host. The upper part of the main display then shows the PID, memory and CPU used, start and run time, owner, and application command for that instance. The lower part of the main display shows the Instance Detail Display, which displays the instance snapshots in either a timeline or a list.
Alerts Console
Alerts are notifications of events such as service outages and memory use overages. The Alerts Console shows a filterable list of all alerts that have occurred and are not yet resolved on data hosts.
Jobs Console
The Jobs Console shows a filterable list of jobs that are running or have run. Jobs include snapshots, snapshot imports and exports, and reports.
Usage Report Console
The Usage Report Console lists monthly reports that are generated automatically by Memory Machine. You can also generate ad hoc reports from this console.
Logs Console
Logs Console enables you to view and search all the log files generated by Memory Machine.
Settings Console
The Settings Console contains several sub-consoles that enable you to configure Memory Machine and Memory Machine Management Center (M3C). See The Settings Console.
