The Logs Console
The Logs Console lists the log files generated by all services on the management host and the data hosts and by application instances on the data hosts.
The Logs Console shows the labeled parts of the Logs Console in the Memory Machine application.
The Logs Console contains the following elements:
- MemVerge Application Name
- The UI application logo and name (Memory Machine Management Center).
- Global Search Icon
- Click to search for host group, host, application instance, snapshot, and cluster snapshot names.
- Jobs Dropdown
- Click to view scheduled jobs. See Viewing Jobs.
- Help Dropdown
- Click to open the Help Center, the Open API Reference, or the Memory Machine Information Pop-Up.
- User Dropdown
- Click to log the current user off the Memory Machine Management Center.
- Console Selector
- Click to choose one of: Global Dashboard, Hosts Console, Applications Console, Alerts Console, Jobs Console, Usage Report Console, or Settings Console.
- Page Title
- This is the Logs Console page.
- Host Selector Dropdown
- Click to select the M3C host or any of the registered data hosts.
- Log Search Text Box
- Type a string to search the contents of the log files in the table. Unlike the Global Search Icon, you must click the search icon or press return to initiate the search.
- Log File Table
- A table showing all log files for the selected host.
- Name
- The filename of the log file.
- Last Modified
- The date and time that the latest entry was made to the log file.
- Size
- The size of the log file.
- Owner
- The username of the file owner.
